Another Time, Jonathan
Over the years, Jonathan has posed for our group a number of times and is always excellent. He changes his "look" often enough so it is like painting some one new. This 16 by 8 inch canvas was completed in 2 1/2 hours.

Back at the Free Model Guild

We just returned from a 3 week tour of China in celebration of our 40th anniversary and saw many of the "main attractions." It was our first guided tour and we stayed amazingly busy the whole time and met lots of interesting travelers. I took way too many photos and will post some on Picasa soon. In the meantime, went to art again today and had a wonderful model named Jeanne. Loved doing her portrait in watercolors...wow have I missed painting!!! BWT, my cast was removed and I am almost well! Hooray!

Curt's Birthday Travels

We departed Wednesday for a spur of the moment trip to Hawai'i. It was a way to celebrate my hubby's 62nd birthday and something we said we have to do before departing the great PNW. We are both pleasantly surprised....having grown up with Florida as the main beach vaca...this is good and DifferenT...what I look for now in any adventure. Not so impressed with the art scene here but that's understandable...it is too sunny and warm to stay inside and paint!

Another Free Model Session
Enjoyed a good art group today with our challenging model Ashleya. She was excellent and took my portrait of her home.
Our model works with Geezer Gallery developing collaborative art with young and old participants. What an industrious high schooler!
