What happens when we can not see?

Returned to the model group after an absence of several weeks and a great trip to Nashville to celebrate my father's 90th birthday.   What a special time....also, seeing my 89 year old mother reminded me to try my watercolors again.   She is a wonderful  artist who must now "rest her eyes."
As an artist, I know how much my sight means....I hope I am always grateful for good eyes!

Our model was Amber, an adorable student at Auburn who is studying design and nutrition. She modeled for us during her school break.   I work fast with watercolors and completed 2 good likenesses.
