En Plein Air at Turkey Creek

My Aunt Marie died Sunday and I was unable to make the connections to attend her funeral 2 days later....she was an amazing lady and I so enjoyed visiting with her and my cousins over the years. She departed just before reaching her 91st birthday...we are never ready to lose the ones we love, especially our mothers....

I painted this with friends at Turkey Creek Park and maybe it helped me a little to say goodbye.
