Four Months and Time to Update

Our model group disbanded several months ago due to lack of participation and though sad, I can always find photo refs of people or friends to paint.  I have recently enjoyed the many Procreate tutorials by James Julier on YouTube and a few others for Art Studio Pro.  I have loved switching to digital because it is so compact!  My studio does not fill with unsold canvases but I can now print out digital works and they are just like nice giclees of originals.  I am adding a few below that I have enjoyed painting. 

Eight months since last update!

Don't know why I am slow in updating but maybe it is because I don't think this is seen by anyone but me!  At least it is a record of work....

 Believe it or not...this is not all the paintings I have done in the past 8 months!  I am obsessed with digital painting but always push myself to draw with traditional materials.  Painting with the IPAD is my new love as it is so portable and I do not end up with lots of canvases.  I now give away all the original model paintings if the model likes them...

Lately, I have drawn the model first then tried to do a digital if time allowed.  I fear losing drawing/painting skills by using the digital medium but it is so portable and we hope to finally travel again! I usually give these sketches to the model if he/she likes them.
